🎤 Aaditya Chapagain, Machine Learning Engineer @ Cloud Shuttle
Talk: Mage: transporting your data pipelines to the GenAI era!
Summary: Despite all the innovation SaaS data pipeline companies and claims of the end of the data engineer, our clients are continually seeing the need for data orchestration tooling. It just makes sense that you would have a single place where you can get up and running with a data ingestion and transformation. However, orchestration tools are typically old and clunky, difficult to install, support and maintain and require team upskilling… in short, they are a distraction to the data team.
Enter Mage with it’s code blocks and integration with foundation models to help you build and maintain your data pipelines faster. In this talk, we will showcase how your data team can embrace the GenAI era today!
Speaker Bio: Aaditya is a seasoned Data Engineering Consultant at Cloudshuttle, where he empowers clients to leverage cutting-edge data tools and frameworks. His expertise is in guiding clients through the complexities of building robust data infrastructures, ensuring they stay ahead in the fast-paced and competitive marketplace.

🎤 Emily Melhuish, Lead Engineer @ Multitudes
Talk: Data Ethics 101
Summary: With the fast adoption of AI technologies, it can be easy to overlook data ethics. Why are they important and how can they benefit both the data consumer and processor? I’ll go into the 5 key data ethics principles we live by at Multitudes, how we put them into practice and why they are important
Speaker Bio: Emily loves to be involved in a range of things from blowing up circuits to riding horses to rockets. She’s an Electrical Engineer by trade but has found herself working in the realms of software and data engineering. With a passion for both hardware and software, she hopes to combine the two to make technology smarter and more sustainable. Currently, she is leading engineering at Multitudes, a startup providing engineering metrics that aren’t creepy to unlock happier and higher-performing teams.
