Take Care Coby

After seven years and four different roles, Coby Zutt is heading off on a 12-month sabbatical and we could not be prouder.

From barista then manager in our original café to community coordinator, and most recently community manager, Coby has grown with GridAKL and GridAKL grew with him. He’s been the creative force behind the Auckland Indie

 Game Showcase, our 10-year anniversary brand, and the Auckland Startup Week logo, weaving art and community into the fabric of the hub.

He’ll be travelling through Japan undertaking several artist residencies over the next year. We’ll miss his steady positivity and creative spark, but we’re excited to see this next chapter unfold. This is not goodbye, just see you soon.

Welcome Sinead

We’re delighted to welcome Sinead Watson to the team while Coby is on sabbatical as Community Manager.

Sinead has spent her career working alongside founders, innovators and industry leaders, building strong communities and helping great ideas grow. She brings a genuine passion for entrepreneurship, supporting ventures to go global, and ensuring global perspectives are part of what we build here in Aotearoa.
