📣 The organisations behind this event:

✨ Girls in Tech is a global not-for-profit organisation which was founded in 2007 in the US and the New Zealand chapter opened in 2023. Our purpose is to create a space and community for women where they can unlesah the “girl” in them to pursue their asiprations in the field of technology and contributing to reducing the gender gap that exists in tech around the world.


✨ GridAKL is the epicentre of Auckland’s tech and innovation, propelling early-stage startups. Based in Wynyard Quarter, this shared workspace fosters collaboration, connecting entrepreneurs with knowledge, resources, and impactful connections. More than a space, GridAKL is a dynamic community driving fresh thinking for a positive global impact.

 

✨ Manzana is an inclusive & safe space and community for women, diverse communities of entrepreneurs and allies, in tech and arts in Tamaki Makaurau.

 

✨ Migrants in Tech welcomes individuals in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland aspiring to join the booming tech sector. Connect with fellow newcomers and the local tech community in this safe space designed just for you. Embrace the opportunities, share experiences, and let’s grow together in the exciting world of tech!


✨ She Sharp is a nonprofit founded in 2014 with the mission to bridge the gender gap in the STEM industry, one woman at a time, run entirely by volunteers. We’ve built a network where women can meet and connect with like-minded peers. We showcase careers and role models in STEM from different sectors and disciplines. We make careers in STEM for women possible through mentorship, networking and more.

✨ Women in Space Aotearoa New Zealand (WISANZ) is a professional network and inclusive community that supports women working in the space sector, provides mentorship for women wanting to enter the sector and encourages the next generation of women to pursue a career in space, particularly in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.

✨ The Women in Tech (NZ) Facebook group powered by Maslow is a space for women or those who identify as women to share resources, ideas, conversations, and education on all things tech. We are here to support one another. Membership is open only to those living or working in New Zealand.

✨ Women Tech Founders | Aotearoa Facebook group is an inclusive community for women and gender-diverse founders and operators in tech startups in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Our purpose is to unite a diverse group of women and gender-diverse entrepreneurs in tech, fostering the sharing of experiences, challenges, guidance, support, and celebration of wins as we build our ventures.
