Join Gender at Work & Powrsuit for an energising breakfast event in the lead up to International Women’s Day!

Ditch the Syndromes – You don’t need fixing. The workplace does.

We’re thrilled to host the brilliant duo Kristen Lunman and Natalie Ferguson, founders of Powrsuit and Hatch, for a sharp look at the most ridiculous “syndromes” invented to keep women in their place – from Bicycle Face in 1895 to Imposter Syndrome today.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Why new labels appear every time women make progress
  • Why closing the gender gap matters now
  • What leaders and workplaces can do differently

Expect real-world stories from Kristen and Nat and an open Q&A.

This conversation is for everyone, including men, so bring along some friends and colleagues. Gender inequality isn’t just a women’s issue. It affects everyone through shaping economic outcomes, workplace cultures, family wellbeing, and the future of our tamariki and mokopuna. When systems work better for women, they work better for all of us.

Event details:

  • Date: Wednesday 25 February 8:00 am – 9:30 am
  • Location: GridAKL, 101 Pakenham Street West, Wynyard Quarter, Auckland 1010
  • Tickets: $20 per person and FREE for Gender at Work and Powrsuit Members (RSVP required)
  • RSVP by Friday 20 February

Come curious. Leave fired up. Let’s warm up for International Women’s Day 2026!
