Have you been using a new Machine Learning technique or library a lot in the last few months? This is your chance to come along and share your hard fought for lessons with the Data Science Discussion Group.
If not, is there that one research paper, Machine Learning technique, or Library that you’ve been meaning to get to for months? If this is the case, now is your chance to rip into it, and, to bring along and share what you learn between now and the meeting with the group!
Some Examples:
featurewiz, polars, autogluon and other automl, xgboost 2, skrub, tabular deep learning etc. If tested with the water pump data even better.
All topics welcome as long as they fall under the umbrella of Data Science and Machine Learning.
Who is this meeting for?
Anyone interested in Data Science and Machine Learning. We aim to have the discussion at an intermediate to advanced level, but we welcome people of all levels.
Discussion Format:
We give everyone a chance to share what they have learned and ask questions about where they got stuck. Those who did not look at materials beforehand or would just like to listen are welcome to pass their turn.
