Our team have years of experience working within the Startup community, with particular expertise in supporting start-ups, entrepreneurs, and founders. GridAKL creates an environment focussed on the people – allowing them to access tools, expertise, support, and bespoke learning opportunities that will enable their business idea to grow to the next level.

Generator is one of New Zealand’s leading boutique coworking and serviced office providers. Generator are experts in providing a range of flexible spaces to suit businesses throughout their lifecycle, in a community environment that supports and nurtures business growth.

Auckland Council
GridAKL is an Auckland Council funded initiative. Auckland Council is investing over $30m in the development of GridAKL over 10 years and is a key priority in the city’s Economic Development Strategy.

Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED)
  is the lead agency responsible for the strategic development of GridAKL. This includes responsibility for developing GridAKL facilities and commissioning initiatives that will catalyse the innovation community in Auckland, to stimulate economic growth for the greater Auckland region and the New Zealand innovation community.


Precinct Properties
Precinct Properties is the owner of GridAKL facilities – 12 Madden Street and Mason Brothers Buildings, and the developer responsible for the physical regeneration of the wider Wynyard Quarter Innovation Precinct.
