ABOUT THIS EVENT

Measuring social impact can be difficult, time-consuming, complicated and expensive. Hear from experts discuss how social impact needs to be a part of every business and how to measure it in a meaningful way.  Thinking about how the service/ product changed & improved lives and/or the environment.  We will discuss how to capture data using voices, quotes, videos and not just bare data. Learning how to measure this information will help you gain a proper understanding of the value of what you are doing to improve your services.

Our panel consists of

Rachael Trotman: Centre for Social Impact
Rachael will talk about some helpful ways to think about evaluation, some principles and practices to aim to do well and links between evaluation, co-design and communication. She will also point you to some helpful tools and resources.
 
Dr Michael Blewden; Senior Research, Mackie Research
Michael will discuss the general principles, issues and other thoughts about impact evaluation.
 
Paul Kerssens: Co-Founder of Impact Hub Waikato
Paul will emphasize the importance of Impact measurement in the context of social entrepreneurship and discuss different measurement models and practical tips & tricks.
