About Hardware Meetup AKL
Hardware Meetup AKL is one of the largest gatherings of hardware and product people in New Zealand. Every few months, we showcase founders and engineers and the world-leading products they’re building. We’ve now showcased around 30 of New Zealand’s most exciting hardware companies.
We believe diversity of thought makes life as good as it is. Diversity of thought comes from diversity of gender, ages, and races. A broad set of perspectives allows us to solve problems better, accelerate change faster, and make the world a whole lot nicer.
In our ongoing effort to increase the level of diversity at our events, around half of our tickets will be available as General Admittance to anyone, and the remaining percentage will be available to women and non-binary folk (we’re choosing to address gender first).
